Hear Ye! Hear Ye!

Aleksey Nisenboym is a Brooklyn-based artist and illustrator. Born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and raised in New York City, Aleksey takes great inspiration from Russian fairy tales and other Slavic folklore in his work. He is a self-taught artist, who prides himself on his work ethic and dedication to learning and growing. Aleksey most enjoys making ink-and-paper compositions that he colors digitally, but every piece is different and he is proficient with a wide variety of traditional and digital artistic tools. Aleksey has completed his residency at the School of Visual arts in New York City working under the professional guidance of Viktor Koen, Anna Raff, and Paul Hoppe.

Aleksey not only enjoys creating illustrations and stories through imagery but also writing several of his own original comics.
